Information Course especially for Carers

Are you looking after a family member or friend who has a physical or mental disability, is frail aged, has dementia or an illness requiring assistance with their daily living?  This course will connect Carers with services and assistance available, explore the emotional and physical demands of caring and provide strategies to manage stress. 

This is a 4 week course (every Tuesday) from 5th to 26th June inclusive

Week 1:  Introductions and Guest Speakers from Manly Hospital Occupational Therapy Service
Week 2:  Guest Speakers from Centrelink, Aged Care Assessement Team (ACAT) & Community Care Northern Beaches
Week 3:  Guest Speakers from, Carers NSW, Commonwealth Carelink Centre (Respite) and Stress Management Counsellor
Week 4:  Guest Speakers from MWP Community Transport, MWP Community Aid and Meals on Wheels

Venue:  30 Howard Avenue, Dee Why.
Cost:    $5.00 for four sessions includes morning tea
