Community Connect Gardening

Our Community Connect Gardening program assists residents in the Northern Beaches Council area who are frail aged or people with a disability and their carers by providing an affordable gardening service as well as advice on how to plan a low maintenance easy care garden. This program is funded by NSW Department of Human Services, Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) through the Home and Community Care (HACC) program.

Under the supervision of our qualified horticulturalist and our team of experienced leaders, over 100 dedicated volunteers work in teams to create more manageable and safer garden environments to help our clients remain in their own homes.

The Volunteers said- It was a great experience for all the volunteers involved. We loved rubbing shoulders with Jamie Durie and Nigel Ruck and had a lot of fun building the vertical garden wall.
